This blog post is covering a two week reporting period since things have slowed down for the holiday season. The colder weather is on its way so I am sure there will be more and more indoor training going on soon.
During this reporting period, Ryan Schmit (Austin Area) did hit the trais on some nice days. Thanks for the post brother.
Ryan on the trails in Austin
Our brother Derrick Daniels (Longview) experimented with some new video edited software and made a short video. (click the link). Thanks for the post Derrick.
It looks like Santa came early for a couple folks already! Jack Thompson (Gatesville) picked him up an Domane AL2 from the Waco Trek store.
Jack's new Domane AL2
I (Monty) had been drewling over the Checkpoint SL5 for six months and finally bit the bullet and bought it. The crew at the store knew I eventually would. (LOL)

Just a couple days later, I squeezed in an unsupported overnighter at Mother Neff State Park about 22 miles from the house.
My new bike (Moses) loaded down at Mother Neff SP
Our brother, Jim Boland (Farmersville) got in some miles on the trails also. Jim completed the 30 mile Rudolph's Revenge Endurance Challenge! Jim said that Rudolph got his revenge! (LOL) His words.... "Tough, tough race. Wind, gravel, sand, rocks and bigger and more rocks."
He didn't miss a chance to share the love of Christ and give out a Christian Cycling six (6) water bottles with tracts. Praise the King! (If any of you need more just let me know.)

Alan Trammell (Lindsay) purchased another 500 Christian Cycling windo stickers! That should last us for awhile. Whohoo!
Finally, we got hooked up with Primal (through national) to purchase some polo shirts, hoodies and Jackets. The response from the subscribers was awesome and we ordered over $1,000 worth of goodies!
