Missouri Spoke Members,

We can’t wait to connect with you tomorrow with food, rides and fellowship!  Here’s a summary of what to expect:

Venue – Creve Coeur Park (Upper park on Streetcar Dr.) – Scout Shelter near the back of the park.  Here’s a google map link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/s4XnGPrrkAfdhaQW7.

Parking – Parking at the shelter is limited.  There are several other lots in the park.  Feel free to find an open spot and then ride over to the shelter.

Schedule:

7:30 am – arrivals start then.   Coffee and bagels from Lefty’s are provided and are first come first served – but there should be plenty for everyone!

8:00 a.m. – official Reunion start.  We’ll do some brief introductions and probably give away our first door prize or two.  We’ll also shoot our group photo.

8:30 a.m. – all three rides (MTB, gravel and road) roll out together after an opening prayer.  We’ll depart the park and head down Marine Ave as a group.    We then split off as follows:

Gravel (5-8 riders – Led by Paul Mueller and Matt Boll) – Here’s the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/48418614.

Road (7-9 riders – Led by Jon Schmidt) – Route across Page bridge into St. Charles County -  up to New Town, down through old St. Charles and back to the park.  Around 75% of this is on protected paths or quieter roads.  Here’s the route:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/48665826

MTB (4-5 riders – led by Mark Hasler) – Loops of Bootlegger’s run.  You guys get the joy of riding the gravel climb after the three groups split off from each other.

Astute map readers will see that gravel and road don’t split off until after crossing the Page bridge.  Will be a cool peloton headed to St. Charles County!

11:00 (approx.) – Return to the park.  Change clothes (bring some street clothes) and get ready to eat.

11:30- ish- lunch is served!  We have burgers, brats, hot dogs, chips, fruit salad, cookies and bottled water.  No need for you to bring any food!

12:00  - a VERY brief program sharing an update about our spoke and upcoming events. More giveaways and door prizes.

1:00 p.m. – cleanup and depart

What do you need to do/bring?

  1. ChristianCycling kit if you have it.  Will make for a great photo.  Also – bring the oldest kit you have with you – even if you don’t wear it.  One attendance price is for oldest kit!
  2. Your bike (and remember helmet/shoes/gloves)
  3. A change of clothes for lunch/lounging
  4. A lawn chair – seating in the pavilion is limited

As a reminder – if you need to check your membership status or learn how to buy kit we’ll be on hand to help with that.  Bring your questions and your credit card!

There will also be some limited quantities and sizes of ChristianCycling branded casual wear (ball caps, polos and zip-up hoodies) as well as King Technical Apparel Socks will be available for purchase.
