25 March - Jeff Postell - Good morning family & Friends. I just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, support, and encouragement. I truly felt the love, and I’m grateful beyond words. The procedure is now behind me, nothing but a thing of the past!
Now begins the next chapter: 4 weeks of healing and recovery. I’m trusting the process and leaning on God every step of the way. His Word reminds us in Isaiah 40:31 that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles, and I’m standing on that promise. By the end of April, I’m looking forward to being back on my bike and back in the gym, stronger and renewed. Until then, I’ll stay patient, obedient to my medical caretakers, disciplined, and faithful. Thank you all again, your prayers mean more than you know.

(It is a special blessing to meet other Christian Cycling members at events)
21 March - Burleigh Wood - Just wanted to say thank you to Art and Ed for coming out today to help with our Scouting America Bicycle Rodeo for Elementary age kids learn how to ride safely. They brought food and drinks and helped us with the the kids riding through obstacle course challenges.

21 March - Monty Van Horn - This morning, Tammy Estes Van Horn, Ethan VanHorn and I headed out about 0610 hours. Damien text me a few minutes earlier and Jack Carmicheal Thompson was picking him up. At approximately 0700 hours we all met at Trek Bicycle Waco and visited for a few minutes before Crawford Patton arrived. After a quick hug, he showed us where to set up. The hospitality tent was up and Tammy was putting the fruit out at 0720 hours. Joseph Lenz surprised me when he arrived! He came in from Arlington. Steve Thompson was inquisitive about the Christian Cycling and wee ended up staying of together. In fact, I spent 90% of the ride either with Steve or Joe and occasionally ask three of us riding together. It was an awesome 40.5 miles and great fellowship for a great cause. Just before taking off Dan Carroll, Walker's father, thanked us all with some very emotional words. After the ride I got to shake his hand and give him a hug. Tamara Diane Tami, Colton's mother, came over to the tent to thanks us. I gave her a hug and got a picture with her. Y'all keep praying for Walker and Colton, God's got this! I visited with the folks from VA health, John gave me some items to share with our veterans at church. Ethan (who hates needles) wanted to donate blood for the cause. I was shocked but so proud of our little buddy! I got to visit with Bradley Mazon for a few before the ride and a quick hello to Robert Gonzales Jr.. I also got to visit with Brett and his son Sean. Sean is on the same Cycling team as Walker and Colton. He helped me load up the hospitality tent and supplies as Ethan nearly passed out. He got a power nap in the air conditioned truck and is doing better this evening.

21 March - Blake Williams -Another beautiful day, on our 3rd Saturday of the month gravel group ride.
The next ride will be a 40 mile route, it will be 4/18/26. Weather permitting of course.
Thanks to everyone who came out, hope to see you on the next one.

16 March - Monty Van Horn - This morning, Tammy Estes Van Horn and I was up and headed out before 0700. Jack Carmicheal Thompson and Nicky Thompson were waiting for us at the event. Randy Wells showed us where to get the hospitality tent set up and we had everything ready by the time Margie Estes Bellomy shows up with the coffee, donuts and bananas. Derrick Daniels visited with us before the event as well as Robert Flanakin and his friend Rob. The fellowship was great and we did it before the event knowing that we may not see each other after the event. Jack had to get his tires aired up before the ride. The Beast of the Backroads is in the books for our second year in a row. After Jack and I finished, we changed into some clean and dry clothes. I had some coffee and poured it from the same Thermos that I had with me in Desert Storm. The Macedonia youth group started setting up tables with the same items we were giving away so we broke down a little early. Our little group donated $40 to the kiddos before leaving. We gave out 5 thermos of coffee, 4 gallons of water, 3 dozen donuts, one bag full of oranges, and three bunches of bananas. We also blessed some people with the angels and thumb drives from Kathy Sutton and Lonnie Sutton. We stopped at Jucys (one of my favorite places) for a burger, before hitting the highway. The wind was something! Ethan VanHorn greeted us at about 1830 and helped us unload the truck. It was a long but totally awesome day.

16 March - Jeff Postell - I’m thankful to the Christian Cycling Organization and Art Garcesa for allowing us to serve as SAG 4 for the Pro Cyclist at the Ironman 70.3 in Little Elm. It’s always a blessing to serve where faith and cycling come together.
I’m especially grateful for my wife Vicki Postell, Waking up at 3:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning is completely out of her element, but she still shows up to support me and this passion I have for cycling. I’m always thankful for the opportunity to serve and thankful for the people God has placed in my life. #JesusIsLord

16 March - Jerry Bolin - Had a great time at the Ironman 70.3 Sunday - what an experience! Bertha and I worked at RSAG2 (runner sag #2)

16 March - Art Garcesa - We had a very blessed day at inaugural IronMan in Little Elm.
Christian Cycling - Texas and ENDUR3 Men of Faith and other volunteers took on a massive challenge on volunteering to do the bike SAG, run SAG, and Athlete food.
I would like to thank all of our volunteers! I heard nothing but great things for what our team did.
Sharing from a text to the group:
Bike Sag and Run Sag - You knocked it out of the park!
Athlete Food: You fought the wind and won!
In Matthew 5:14-16, our Lord says that, "14 You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house."
Outstanding job! You shined your lights today and I'm so very proud to be a fellow servant with you.
Love you all and God bless.
Thank you

7 March - Jeff Postell - Good morning family and friends, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your incredible support during the Mr. Health & Fitness competition. Because of your votes, encouragement, and sharing, I was able to make four cuts and reach the Top 5. That truly meant a lot to me.
While I didn’t advance to the finals, I still feel like I won. My biggest goal from the beginning was to inspire my fellow senior citizens to stay active, healthy, and motivated regardless of age. If this journey encouraged even one person to move a little more, exercise, or take better care of their health, then it was absolutely worth it.
Another great part of this competition is that the funds raised support the Andrew McDonough Be Positive Foundation, an organization that helps fund childhood cancer research, supports families in need, raises awareness, and spreads positivity in the fight against childhood cancer.
So thank you again for every vote, every message, and every bit of encouragement. I truly appreciate you all. Let’s keep pushing each other to live strong, healthy, and positive lives. #JesusIsLord
