27 June 2026 - Blake Williams - Pecan Gap to Ladonia via the NETT. Had a good ride today even though the wind was a whippn. The trail between the two towns is in good shape. It’s been getting trimmed back and looking better in several areas. The volunteers have been working hard. The surrounding gravel roads were a good mix of a lot of different size gravel. It was very peaceful, that’s one of the things I love most about gravel. You can leave all your concerns at the car, and the time you are riding you are just in the moment with no worries. I will definitely return and map out another adventure.

27 June 2026 - Art Garcesa - We had a great ride in Irving today. Michael and Suzanne joined us before their trip to the Pyrenees this week. We are very blessed.

25 June 2026 - Jim Boland - Today while stopping at a Convenience Store in Celeste, TX. A store we stop at on our group rides. I noticed a young man trying to fix an old bike he was riding. I tried to assist but realized it was too broken to repair. He noted he was using the older bike cause he recently had an other bike stolen. I asked if I could talk to his dad, and mentioned to his dad that one of our goals as members of Christian Cycling-Texas was to help others and I would like to help his son. So........called Coach Bonnie Boland and said, I was going to buy a bike. After she realized it was not for me and what the situation was, she said let's go buy one today.
Here is photos of the presentation on behalf of Christian Cycling - Texas.

12 June 2026 - Monty Van Horn - This morning Tammy Estes Van Horn and I finished uploading the truck and trailer. The picture doesn't have the final load. We went to the house and put Tammy's bike and the Fire Ant on the trailer. We met Jo Ann at HEB to get the watermelons, fruit, and other goodies. We were done at about 0830. Clark Burns, Jo Ann Sugg, Georgiana Cleverley, Barbara Copp Considine, Diana McCarver, Leo Corona, and Lori Maples helped unload the truck and trailer, set up tables, cut watermelon, pack the SWAG bags, decorate (should have took pictures of the finished product) and Crystal Cockrell helped with early packet pick up. We had 20% of those that registered pick up their packets this evening. Jack Carmicheal Thompson and I put up the signs for the route after we filled 10 5-gallon igloos with ice and water. We met Maddix, our DJ for tomorrow, to show him where to set up in the morning. Then we headed to Ranchers to join Ryan Schmidt, Kathy Sutton, Lonnie Sutton, Tina and Kelly, Rease Thompson, Nicky Thompson, Dean Thompson, Jack Thompson, and Damian White, for a late supper. (picture below is all the Christian Cycling folks breaking bread) That's a bunch of Christian Cycling folks! Now I'm home, going to get some sleep before a very early start tomorrow. Good night.
