Also from Jack Thompson - Renegade Rambler is in the books. Saturday Feb. 28. We rode the 35 mile!! It was a great ride with lots and lots of beautiful scenery!! The gravel and elevation were challenging but well worth it. Christy Gibson and I did great on the ride. So proud of Christy for her ride, she was returning to riding from a prolonged illness and layed down some impressive miles and elevation. Jim Boland of course is a Beast on a Bicycle as usual!! The man smoked us young folk and admire him for his biking skills!! What great man of God Jim is as well!!

27 February - Jerry Bolin - Spring Bike Rides
Welcoming all fellow cyclists! I will be coordinating some "informal" bike rides this Spring. They will be held on Saturdays - **WEATHER PERMITTING** - and starting about 8-9am from White Rock Lake off Lawther Rd on the west side of the lake. I am thinking of several different routes of varying lengths and intensity to provide some variety and will put an emphasis on SAFETY FIRST. This will be an opportunity for fellowship and getting ready for the summer events coming up - it's not a race. I would prefer to keep the group together, but understand there may be more than one group. Can I get a tally of who might be interested in getting together? Please send a message if you would be interested. Thank you.

24 February - Robert Flanakin So glad to join the Christian Cycling community! Thank you Monty Van Horn for the welcome packet. I’m looking forward to reading your book. I’m looking forward to meeting fellow Christian Cyclists. I spend the springtime training for my summer events throughout the southwest. I can’t wait to wear the jersey and hopefully invite some conversations about the gospel with other riders.

I find riding throughout this incredible country inspiring for my personal Christian writing. Please find my first book at

No drop group gravel rides.  Hello, this is Blake Williams. Let’s get together every 3rd Saturday of the month, for some gravel adventures.
We will start February 21, 2026. Meet at the back of the Onion shed in Farmersville at 9:00am , we will roll out at 9:30am. Pace range 11-15 avg. miles will vary from 30-50+. This will be a casual ride with stops as needed.  This is meant to be a way of getting cyclists who are curious about gravel out on the bike, and for those who are seasoned gravel cyclists more miles. All rides are weather and trail conditions permitting.  So come on out and join me on 2/21/26, hope to see you there!
