Dear Missouri Spoke Members,
We’re just over two weeks out from our Missouri Spoke “Family Reunion”. As a reminder- this is a chance to get together, ride a bit and share a meal and reconnect.
Venue – Creve Coeur Park (Upper park on Streetcar Dr.) – Scout Shelter near the back of the park
Date – October 5th
Time – 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Format – meet for light breakfast and coffee – head out for gravel, mountain or road ride (2-3 hours) – come back for lunch barbecue
Who can attend? - Current and past members of ChristianCycling plus their family and friends.
Cost- free – this is our way to give back to you, our members, for your membership, service and faithfulness over the years.
Is anything expected of you?
- only to have a great time reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones.
- Invite your friends and family
- – Oh – and bring LAWN CHAIRS!
What’s new since the last post?
- Routes are being decided. Paul Mueller and Matt Boll have come up with a cool gravel route. Here is is: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/48418614. Mountain is on Bootlegger’s Run in the park and Road will likely go over the Page bridge to Old St. Charles and Back
- Also – we have some ChristianCycling branded gear and some other giveaways that we’ll give out as door prizes.
- Contests for farthest traveled and also oldest ChristianCycling gear (yes – Wheels of Thunder and Team Ironclad jerseys count!)
- Some limited quantities and sizes of ChristianCycling branded casual wear (ball caps, polos and zip-up hoodies) as well as King Technical Apparel Socks will be available for purchase.
- For those wishing to verify if their membership is current or sign up again/first time we’ll have a computer there for that.
- Finally – for those wishing to order ChristianCycling on the bike kit from our sponsor Voler we’ll be on hand to help you do that as well.
While some of you have already responded via Facebook we’d appreciate if you RSVP (if you are coming) to [email protected] by September 29th so we can plan food accordingly.
