The Christian Cycling folks were out riding all over today, big time!
In Weatherford, TX we had Art Garcesa (North Dallas representative) at the Peach Pedal Bike Ride with our brothers and sisters (Sumit, Maria, Holland, Trey & Tamara and family).
The Peach Pedal Bike Ride is an annual fundraising events for the United Way of Parker County and the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce. Monies raised provide vital program funding for the following non-profits in our community: CASA, Children’s Advocacy Center, Child Protective Services Board, Center of Hope, Freedom House, Hearts Full of Love, MANNA, Parker County Committee on Aging, Sanctified Hope for Women and Stars & Strides Therapeutic Riding.
Check out our Christian Cycling - Texas FB group page for more.
Also, we had Dustin and Deana (Belton representatives), Doraine and Nick (Harker Heights representaives) on a fellowship ride on the Pepper Creek Trail, a local bike trail in Bell County. They rode over twelve miles and getting conditioned for some more group rides soon!
Monty and his son Ethan met with Jack and also went on a fellowship ride from Gatesville to a small café in Oglesby. Robert Gonzales, our Woodway/Waco representative also dropped in at the cafe in Oglesby for great food and fellowship.
