First, I want to thank all the subscribers that post to our Facegroup page.  Without your help, I could NOT harvest the following updates. So again, I can't thank you enough.

The Texas Spoke continues to grow, praise the King! Not only do we have new subscribers BUT we also have those that felt led to be their area representatives!

Welcome Kathy and Lonnie Sutton, our Abilene area reps.

Welcome Perry Gaudet, our Whitney area rep.

Having servants that are willing to be a "local rep" allows out Texas Map footprint to grow and many that are searching online will have a better chance to find someone close to them to contact. Thank you for stepping up to be that contact!

Harvested from Art Garcesa (Little Elm Area Rep)

Yesterday - July 20th:  Paris, TX at the 40th Annual Tour de Paris

We had a great time at the Tour de Paris yesterday and feel very blessed to have been to come out set up our tent right outside of the Civic Love Center and had water, Gatorade, Liquid-IV and Gatorade packets, as well at bananas for riders. It was also great to meet with our brothers and sisters from North Texas Cycling as well as other riders asking about ChristianCycling.

We also distributed info for the Pink Diamonds Breast Cancer Awareness ride and met up with Daniel the president of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis who were passing out Denton Turkey Roll info.  We also met with Katy from the Greenville Cotton Patch challenge.  Christian Cycling - Texas and ChristianCycling.org will be at these 3 events later this year and will be helping to support these rides.

On the 27th of July, Art Garcesa was in Cleburne, TX at the 37th Annual Tour de Goatneck Bike Ride. This ride benefited the Cleburne Education Foundation (CEF). Once again, the hospitality booth brings curious christians over to ask about the organization.

Also on August 3rd, We had folks at Granbury, TX at the 16th Annual Blazin Saddle 75 Bicycle Rally. Art Garcesa had the hospilaity booth set up as usual. Harvested from Art's post:

We had a great time and fellowship with Scott Stanley, Michael Keel, Tamara Massey, Jonathan Coen (JC), Lorraine Shearer, Howard Shearer, Chad Meis, Thomas McMonigle, Martha Pellerin, Kathy Gardner, Bill Cearley, Jim Walker and many other riders at the Blazin Saddle 75 yesterday. The Blazin Saddle 75 benefits rally Texas EMS and this ride is the last stop in the series of rallies and tours for many Texas cyclists that are on the road to HH100.

We had cool rain in the morning but it cleared up by the afternoon which made it very humid and hot but our riders rode on to conquer this very difficult and challenging course.

Christian Cycling volunteered for the event at packet pick up and helped a little bit post ride. We also had great fellowship with other ride directors who were also there; Katy Hurry Ridge (Cotton Patch in Greenville, TX), Ken Reedy & Daniel Clanton (Denton Turkey Roll in Denton, TX), Courtney Rayburn (Tour de Cure ADA in McKinney, TX) and Cara & Bobby (Rolling Into Fall, Corinth, TX).

We handed out ride info for other rides that we are planning on supporting below:

Pink Diamonds Bike Ride: Duncanville, TX 10/12/2024
Rolling into Fall: Corinth, TX 09/28/2024
Autumn in Bonham: Bonham, TX 10/5/2024

There were several accidents during the ride. We prayed and gave thanks to the Lord for that the riders involved had all survived. I would also like to give special thanks our brother Bikin' Mike (Michael Keel) and our sister Kathy Gardner for helping and taking great care of a rider that came in with multiple 1st and 2nd degree road rash. He was in a different crash and had to cut his ride short but still managed to crossed the finish line with grit and determination.

To God all the glory!

Congratulations on your ride sister!

I also got some miles in this past month but not nearly what I had been doing. Due to some physical challenges of family members, I have stayed home for the most part. That doesn't stop me from riding to some nearby eating places though. LOL. I rode 40 miles to Storms in Hamilton and also did a round trip of a bit over 40 miles to McGregor for a bite to eat.
